Watch to hear the experiences of some of those involved in the important work of ICPs who attended the Regional ICP Workshop 2015:
The second ICP Regional Workshop took place at Lagan Valley Island on 27 May 2015 with more than 170 attendees from across health and social care, as well as service users, carers and representatives from local councils.
Following from the success of the inaugural Regional Workshop last year, this year’s event was a valuable opportunity for the members of all 17 ICP committees to focus on the application of the RICE agenda and to share the outcomes from the work undertaken over the past year among ICP members and with other stakeholders.
Health Minister Simon Hamilton attended the event to meet with members of ICP committees and to acknowledge the role of ICPs in delivering high quality, joined up patient care.
Attendees also heard from the Health and Social Care Board Chief Executive, Valerie Watts and Director of Integrated Care, Dr Sloan Harper. A number of workshops and presentations from local ICP teams took place throughout the day focusing on how ICPs are leading integration and delivering better outcomes. ICP service user and carer representatives, Laura Collins and Arthur Templeton also shared their experiences of being involved in ICP working, and the day was brought to a close with an interactive panel discussion.
A number of the key presentations delivered at the ICP Regional Workshop can be downloaded in the Resources section.
