GPs and Practice Managers from Omagh Health Centre are getting ready for the move to their new state-of-the-art GP Practices on the new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex site.

Patient appointments for Three Spires Family Practice, Grange Family Practice, Strule Family Practice and Drumragh Family Practice will be provided in the new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex from Monday 26 June 2017. GP Practices will be open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am–6.00pm. The four GP Practices will offer the same wide range of general medical services to all registered patients offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare in their new modern facilities.

Patients are asked to note the new contact telephone numbers for each of the four practices:

Drumragh Practice – 028 8225 9119

Three Spires Practice – 028 8224 0100

Grange Practice – 028 8224 0175

Strule Practice – 028 8224 3231

Commenting following a visit to the new premises Dr Paula Gallagher said: “The facilities were absolutely unreal and patients will be delighted when they see their new Primary Care Centre.  There has been a huge investment into the future of healthcare in Omagh and this would enhance the profile of Omagh and make it easier to attract new Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Staff to the area.  We are looking forward to seeing patient’s reactions when they visit the new facility for the first time.”

Patients should note that the Pharmacy at the Omagh Health Centre site will remain open with the same opening hours that currently exist (Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 6.00pm). It is anticipated that a new community pharmacy will open in autumn 2017 within the new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex site.

Patients are reminded that a new shuttle bus service will operate from Omagh Bus Station to the new Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex. The new service (service 384e) will operate Monday to Friday, leaving every half hour from 8.00am to 6.00pm and then hourly until 9.00pm. This new service will provide a reliable public transport option to the new Hospital site for patients.
