Sharon Gallagher has been appointed as the new interim Chief Executive of the Health and Social Care Board/ Deputy Secretary (Designate) of the Health Services Operations Group.
She will take up her post from Monday 28 September 2020, taking over from outgoing Chief Executive Valerie Watts, who has retired from the role after nearly 40 year’s of service in the public sector.
Sharon was most recently the Department of Health’s Deputy Secretary for Transformation, Planning and Performance and brings a wealth of experience to the position.
