Local families and community groups took the opportunity to attend an information and networking event held recently in Larne and Kilwaughter Old Presbyterian Church, hosted by the Larne Children and Young People’s Partnership.
The successful event was aimed at local families and provided information on a wide range of services and also an opportunity for young people and families to give their views on local services.
Fey Clarke from the Northern Ireland Child Minding Association and Chair of Larne Children and Young People’s Locality Partnership, said:
“The event has provided an excellent opportunity for families to identify what is available in their area and make initial links. It was also a good opportunity for organisations to network with each other and share information about the services they provide and how they can work together.”
The Larne Children and Young People’s Partnership was set up and is supported by the Health and Social Care Board Northern Area Children and Young People’s Committee. The partnership aims to improve the lives of children and young people living in the Larne area.
