The Diabetes Innovation and Improvement Fund (IIF) was established in 2016 by the Diabetes Regional Oversight Group led by the Department of Health in collaboration with key stakeholders such as, Health and Social Care Board, Public Health Agency and Diabetes UK, to support the implementation of the Diabetes Strategic Framework.
The Diabetes IIF are currently seeking applications for IIF funding awards, which are intended to encourage innovation. It is envisaged that the award would be used to support the development and/or testing of an innovation or an improvement idea or to support the scale and spread of good practice. Individual awards of £1-£2k will be made to successful applicants, however awards up to £5k may be made on an exceptional basis.
Applications are welcomed from across the HSC system including GPs, and voluntary organisations. We would ask that you disseminate this information through your organisations as widely as possible.
The application form and details are below –
