The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) is a statutory organisation. We arrange or ‘commission’ health and social care services for the population of Northern Ireland.
We are accountable to the Health Minister, Michelle O’Neill for turning her vision for health and social care into a range of services that deliver high quality and safe outcomes for patient and service users, are good value for the taxpayer, and comply with statutory duties.
Our Board of Directors is made up of a non-executive chair, seven non-executive directors, the chief executive and four executive directors.
The HSCB’s also has a Senior Management Team which is made up of senior members of it’s full time staff – view the HSCB Organisational Chart for details.
